‘SWAGMAN’

Acrylic painting on circular canvas; a dark distorted caricature, almost burlesque representation, of a burglars accomplice, ardently bragging about a particularly artful piece of plunder in his swag-bag. His almost black head and face silhouetted onto yellowish background symbolising hope for a lost soul. The swagg'ie brag's, a pendulous belly sags, his plunder weighing heavy on his back, whilst rozzer's lay a devils trap.   Size 60 cm diameter. Artist signed poem included.
