Acrylic on canvas. This painting is part two of a series of paintings illustrating the organised chaos of the never-ending galaxies in which our planet resides. With the far-reaching telescopes humanity is now able to create build and launch, to observe and invade the heavens around us, one has to marvel at the genius which goes into doing so, but one also has to wonder if it’s such a good idea. What are we searching for? What is the object of the exercise, when humanity hasn’t even solved the many problems here on our fragile earth? And likely never will.  Size 100 cm x 50 cm.
